FAQ

We are a vintage clothing website. All our vintage is hand picked by us so every piece is unique and one-off. As vintage can vary in age and a lot of pieces will be 20-30 years old, please be aware they will of course have previously be worn and will show some signs of wear and will have been preloved.
As we carefully select each piece we always take the greatest of care to ensure that any flaws/damages have been noted and listed with the item, and we always wash, steam and mend items where possible. The price of the pieces reflect the condition of the items.
We usually mark our vintage with either 'in great vintage condition' or 'in good vintage condition' and list any flaws on the product dependant on this. If you ever have any questions regarding vintage email us through the contact form on the website.
Do you ship worldwide?
Yes we do. We use Royal Mail international signed for shipping and the price is around £9 for smaller items and £15 for larger items. A tracking number is emailed to you when we post your item. For detailing shipping information please see HERE

How often do you restock your website?
We usually add new products weekly, on Saturdays at 7pm. Check our instagram (@waiste_vintage) for sneak peeks and more up to date information.

 

Where do I enter a discount code?

Discount codes are entered on the left hand side of the checkout section, before you confirm final payment. Look for the 'Have a discount code? click here' on the left when filling in your details

Can I apply a code to my order after it has been confirmed?

Unfortunately not. The code is entered BEFORE you confirm the final payment and is clearly labelled on the left hand side of the checkout. Discounts cannot be added or applied to your order after you confirm final payment, so please make sure you check carefully you have entered any codes correctly before you complete your purchase. Any code issues please email us BEFORE you purchase.

Will certain items be restocked? eg WAISTE reworked or any jewellery pieces?
As we are a predominately a vintage website, so our product is mostly one-of-a kind, so anything marked as 'VINTAGE', once it's gone it's gone.  However anything marked with 'WAISTE' is a restockable item (this usually applies to jewellery and homeware pieces). With our vintage products we always try to restock as similar as possible. If there's something you absolutely love please feel free to email us and we will see what we can do to find a similar piece for you. 
Can I reserve stock?
No, we do not reserve any stock, and we do not take any preorder at the moment either. New vintage, jewellery, homeware and any restocks are always added at 7pm on Saturdays.
How long will it take for my order to get to me?
All our shipping information is found at the bottom of your confirmation email, on our 'store guide' tab, under every product description and on the bottom of our homepage. After weekend orders we usually say to allow up to 5 working days for your order to be dispatched, and up to 10 in peak times. If, for whatever reason you'd like your order any quicker, please email us within 24 hours of placing your order. This information is also stated on the bottom of your confirmation email.

Can I model/shoot for you?
We are based in London, UK and are always on the lookout for like minded creative individuals. model experience is preferred but not essential, if you are a model/photography and think you fit our brand please email us your portfolio/recent images to: contact@waiste.co.uk, we'd love to hear from you!
